NYX MATTE LIPSTICK
(I actually have 4 of this kind of lipstick from NYX. I totally forgot the other one so I'm just going to include that in my review on the NYX Round Lipsticks.)
These lipsticks are sold locally by online sellers who have them shipped from the US. It's something like Php 250.00.
As you can see, the first lipstick is dislodged and is already smearing all over the tube. One thing I absolutely hate about NYX lipsticks is that they get bent and melt rather easily and that the packaging is cheap and flimsy.
The body easily twists so that if you're not extra careful, you'd find your lipstick all twisted up and exposed. You can't just throw these into your make up pouch when you're in a rush. They do break fast.
#1 MERLOT
This is a deep, dark berry shade that is almost plummy in color.
#2 ANGEL
This is a bright neon-pinkish shade.
#3 SIERRA
This is a brownish-orangey shade.

OVERALL
They do glide on smoothly. However, it would be best to put lip balm underneath as they can settle on the lines of the lip and crease. Since it's matte, it can also dry the lips so the lip balm would really help. The staying power is only good for 2 hours. Eating or drinking would completely remove it. Blotting and reapplying it won't do too much of a difference as well.
I don't reach for these as much as my other lipsticks. I guess these are ok overall given that they are very cheap to begin with. If you're looking for a long lasting lipstick, this is definitely not for you.
(Props for the very good pigmentation though!)
