MAYBELLINE Diamond Glow in Green Copper

MAYBELLINE DIAMOND GLOW IN GREEN COPPER

This is one of the quads of Maybelline.

I decided to try this because of Emily, my fave youtube blogger. She swears by this!

It's kinda strange because the one she has is different from mine in terms of eye shadow arrangement and label. In the US, this palette is called *** cinnamon. I forgot exactly. Here, it's Green Copper. Another difference is that here, the order is white, copper, light green then dark. There, it's white, light green, copper then dark green. I'm not sure if that means that there is also a different formulation.

There's an instruction at the back. Of course you can experiment on different ways to put it on. I like putting the copper shade on my lids and then adding the light green on the outer half. I use the dark green shade to make my crease and create depth. Finally, I use the white/pearly shade as my brow high lighter as well as for my tear duct extending to the inner corners of my eye.

The quad comes with a doubled ended sponge applicator. They're not fantastic but they can do. They normally cost Php 499.00 but I got it for 20% off, so that's Php 399.00.

At first, I got disappointed swatching them on my arm. If you think that they're pigment in the picture, that's because i packed them a lot! I was disappointed because it didn't show up the way I would have wanted it to.

However, when I wore it with primer, it did look better and the pigment improved. (no picture)

This quad is all shimmers. The glitters are very fine and not chunky. I recommend wearing this at night. It's also a good alternative for creating a smokey eye look.
